South Oaks Hospital has a long-standing reputation of commitment to quality and compassionate care, crisis management, treatment and recovery — locally and nationally. For more than 124 years, South Oaks Hospital has dedicated its expertise, staff and resources to providing treatment and recovery from acute psychiatric illness and addiction in an optimal setting for individualized assessment.

We recognize how crucial it is for individuals suffering from mental illness and addiction to secure the very best care available. South Oaks Hospital welcomes the opportunity to be that choice for you. For individuals in an acute stage of illness, inpatient hospitalization is available. Our broad range of mental health services includes age specific inpatient units (Child, Adolescent female, Adolescent male, Adult, Senior Adult and Adult Chemical Dependency). Patient lengths of stay are based on individual needs, but most often range from 5 – 15 days. For individuals requiring a less intense level of care, partial hospitalization and outpatient (chemical dependency, substance abuse and mental health) services are also available on site. Our experienced healthcare team for each program will work with you to secure optimal stabilization, wellness and recovery.

Our Evaluation and Admission Team are dedicated professionals who will assist you in determining the best personal treatment options. For more information regarding admission to our programs, please visit the Admissions section on our website or contact their office directly at (631) 608-5610.
